March Postcard

March in the studio was all about curves, color, and curiosity. I spent the month exploring the geometry of the MQC ruler — cutting, piecing, trimming, and repeating until the quarter‑circle block felt like second nature. I learned to relax my shoulders and guide the bias edges without pulling as I gently eased the two curved pieces together under the needle. Along the way I stitched up table runners, experimented with layouts, and even started designing with the block in new ways. It was one of those months where practice turned into play, and play turned into ideas I can’t wait to explore further.

Table Runner Pattern Included in the Mini Quick Curve Ruler packaging from Sew Kind of Wonderful. The different color ways and organization of the individual blocks yields a different feel for each of the table runners. These are quick and fun to make.
